‘Polonia Millennium 2000’ Development Project, Brampton, Ontario, Canada
The ‘Polonia Millennium 2000’ Development Project is located in southwest Brampton and consisting of the Saint Eugene de Mazenod Church, Polonia Cultural/Commercial Centre, ‘Villa Polonia’ Seniors’ Residential Condominium Complex. This project involves the development of a comprehensively designed and visually coordinated community complex to meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the Polish Roman Catholic Community.

The ‘Polonia Millennium 2000’ Project has a total area of 10.31 Ha.

Site Analysis
   

This is a new, mixed-use development in the City of Brampton consisting of the Saint Eugene de Mazenod Church and Rectory, Cultural/Commercial Centre, ‘Villa Polonia’ Seniors’ Condominium Complex and a Storm Water Management Pond.


 

 

Development Concept Plan
Landscape elements combined with unique building designed in the Polish architectural tradition are used to encourage a harmonious interplay between the various facilities within the development and support the visual hierarchy of the site dominated by the Church. The site elements will also create a site that enhances the existing and proposed land uses of the surrounding area.
